Well I’ve taken my idea and drew it up. I got rid of the widget at the bottom. I decided to make the top of the background also the highlight colour.
Personal Site Brainstorm
Today I’m gonna start designing my personal site template. I’m considering going with a minimalistic design; Something white and black with a accent color. Mabe a light and dark stroke surrounding elements. no gradients except to simulate lighting over elements. I’m gonna have special post templates based on metadata in the post (and pages). The front page should have a simple summary of the latest posts (possibly inside a scrolling division). A picture of me, and a widgetized footer.
